15th February is Total Defence Day. On this day in 1942, Singapore fell to the Japanese. Total Defence Day is commemorated every year on this date to remind Singapore of World War II and the key lessons learnt about defence:Singapore is defensible and is worth defending.
We must ourselves defend Singapore. We cannot rely on others to defend our country.
